State Bid Vehicles
Now this might be a car dealer or commisioner-based question...
Vehicles on state bid (i.e. PD RMP's, Chief Cars & Trucks, etc)... They all seem to come from a handful of dealerships in Upstate NY. Do LI Dealerships not bid on the contract? If so, why not? If they're a warranty issue they're the ones who have to deal with itMy posts are mine and do not represent my dept

Most Fords come from Warnock in NJ. you need to do a lot of volume to make it worthwhile, and I dont think the LI places sell enough.
keep in mind, a local dealer can chose to sell you a vehicle at State Bid Price.

The State Police purchase their vehciles directly from Ford and Chevy. Most PD's use state bid and get their cars through Warnock, a dealership in NJ.
